Penaudio Lumi- Pair

Lumi is a 2-way ported standmount speaker of the Snow Line series. “Lumi” means “Snow” in Finnish, so it should remind you of the story of the Snow Line creation. Winter 2018/2019 was extremely winterish in Finland. Cold, beautiful and there was so much snow like was previous one probably sometime where Penaudio was started in 1999. This exceptional snowy winter and Penaudio’s 20th anniversary inspired us to create two models and give them Finnish names Lumi (Snow) and Talvi (Winter). So, by time designing them Sami Penttila spent many hours just watching the trees full of snow looking like they were from some fantasy movie. He also listened to quietness of Finnish winter. Trees were making snapping noises when temperature reached -30 degree Celsius and walking in snow was causing funny crunchy sounds. That all encouraged us to create this new line. Even more simple, more modest looks and more inspiring sound to hear even smallest details from the music you love.

This model features new SEAS drivers. They were picked up carefully and new Excel Specially for Penaudio midrange/woofer was ordered to match perfectly with 25 mm soft dome Excel tweeter. Extremely simple crossover design has chosen to create the most natural soundstage with perfect balance and microdynamics. This 8 Ohm monitor was also designed to be compatible with wide range of amplifiers and easily can be installed in 15-40 m3 rooms.
