Klipsch The Nines are designed as a true all-in-one hi-fi solution. Each speaker houses its own ultra low-noise amplifier, custom-engineered specifically for the drivers. The system delivers 240 W RMS (480 W peak) – 100 W to each 8" woofer and 20 W to each titanium tweeter – so you get genuine room-filling dynamics without a separate amp or receiver.
A 1" titanium LTS tweeter loaded into a Tractrix® horn provides the classic Klipsch combination of high efficiency, low distortion and controlled dispersion. The 8" high-excursion fiber-composite woofer, working in a rear-ported bass reflex enclosure, provides deep, punchy low end from a compact footprint. High-performance DSP and bi-amplification optimise crossover behaviour and driver control at all volumes.
Listening Experience
The Nines offer a big, expressive and highly dynamic listening experience that feels much larger than the cabinets suggest. Bass reaches confidently down into the 30 Hz region with authority and definition, while Dynamic Bass EQ keeps low-frequency impact intact even at modest listening levels.
The midrange is articulate and open, with vocals and instruments sounding immediate and lifelike. The horn-loaded titanium tweeter adds sparkle and air without becoming harsh, preserving fine detail and ambience in recordings.
