You don't realize it, but in an average household about 80 devices are connected to the mains. Among them many with a so-called switching power supply – think of adapters for smartphones, but also dimmers – which still pollute the mains even when they are not active. The consequences for your valuable audio equipment are obvious: an audible distortion on the loudspeaker(s)!

The Audiolab DC-Block removes these unwanted DC artifacts (so-called differential-mode noise) so that your audio components draw clean power from the mains. Connecting is very simple: plug the power cord of the amplifier from the wall socket (or usually power block) into the DC-Block and the power cable of the DC-Block goes into the wall socket or power block.

For very critical listeners, adding another DC-Block to, for example, a source device such as a CD or network player can be determined experimentally because the DC-Block also removes high-frequency influences (common-mode noise) from smartphones, Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth.
