Product Overview

The Lyngdorf FR-1 is a full-range loudspeaker developed with a clear objective: deliver high-quality sound in real-world rooms where traditional speaker placement is often impossible. By using specially tuned boundary woofers, the FR-1 takes advantage of wall placement rather than being compromised by it.

Designed to be mounted directly on the wall, the FR-1 eliminates the need for bulky floorstanding speakers while still offering convincing bass extension and a balanced tonal presentation. When combined with Lyngdorf amplification and RoomPerfect room correction, it achieves exceptional consistency and control.

Listening Experience

The FR-1 delivers a clean, natural and well-balanced presentation. Vocals and instruments are reproduced with clarity and realism, free from the coloration often associated with on-wall speakers. The midrange is open and articulate, while high frequencies are smooth and detailed.

Bass performance is deep, tight and remarkably controlled for a slim wall-mounted design. The boundary woofers interact predictably with the room, providing solid low-frequency weight without boominess, often removing the need for a separate subwoofer in smaller rooms.

Recommended Room Size

The Lyngdorf FR-1 is ideally suited for small to medium-sized rooms, including living rooms and design-oriented interiors. Its wall-optimised design makes it particularly effective where space is limited or clean aesthetics are a priority.

Ideal Applications

• High-fidelity stereo systems in living rooms
• Design-focused installations requiring wall-mounted speakers
