Its rigid plinth uses a sandwich of Italian walnut (or lacquered MDF), stainless steel and acrylic to maximise rigidity and minimise resonance, providing a stable, silent platform for the platter and tonearm.
A 33 mm thick high-density POM platter rotates on a tungsten 5 mm ball bearing and the proprietary Split-Spindle™ system, ensuring exceptionally low friction and superb rotational stability. The high-torque 12 V synchronous motor, controlled by a microprocessor-based external PSU, offers precise 33⅓ and 45 rpm speed with fine pitch adjustment and extremely low wow, flutter and rumble.
