Overview
The Jamo Concert Element 90 is the largest passive floorstanding loudspeaker in the Concert Element range. Its 3-way architecture combines a substantial 250 mm woofer, a dedicated 165 mm midrange and a 25 mm soft-dome tweeter, giving it the scale and low-frequency extension required for serious stereo listening while maintaining the series' distinctive shallow-profile design.
Developed around Jamo's contemporary Danish design philosophy, the Element 90 deliberately makes its acoustic architecture visible. Its circular driver module extends beyond the main cabinet, while the horizontal “Horizon Line” reflects the separation between the internal bass and midrange sections.
Key Benefits
The Element 90 uses one dedicated driver for each frequency range rather than relying on arrays of smaller bass units. Its 250 mm woofer reaches a specified low-frequency cut-off of 30 Hz at -6 dB, giving the speaker genuine low-end extension for music without making a subwoofer essential in every installation.
The woofer and midrange use Scandinavian nettle-fibre cones developed with SB Acoustics and tuned specifically for their respective cabinet volumes. Internally, a dual-chamber construction separates the bass and midrange sections, with additional cabinet bracing to help manage the demands of the larger enclosure.
A down-firing bass-reflex port reduces dependence on a conventional rear-facing port and is intended to make integration into real living rooms more flexible. With 87 dB sensitivity and a 4-ohm impedance, however, the Element 90 deserves a capable amplifier with good current delivery.

Ideal For
The Jamo Concert Element 90 is particularly well suited to medium and larger listening rooms where a full-size floorstander can operate with sufficient space around it. Its combination of a large single woofer and 3-way architecture makes it a natural choice for music systems where bass scale and full-range capability matter, without automatically requiring a separate subwoofer.
Its 4-ohm nominal impedance and recommended amplifier range of 60 to 250 watts mean amplifier matching should be considered carefully. A well-controlled integrated or power amplifier is the appropriate partner.

Why We Selected This Product
The Concert Element 90 is interesting because its distinctive appearance is closely connected to its acoustic engineering. The large single woofer, dedicated midrange chamber, down-firing port and bespoke SB Acoustics drivers give the design technical substance beyond its visual identity.
For customers who want a serious passive floorstander that integrates more naturally into a contemporary interior than a conventional large loudspeaker, the Element 90 offers a thoughtful combination of full-range capability, relatively shallow cabinet proportions and genuinely distinctive Scandinavian design.
