• Slim design ideal for wall-mounting under large displays

Product Overview

The Klipsch RP-440D SB is a high-performance passive soundbar designed for listeners who want the simplicity of a soundbar without sacrificing the dynamics and realism of a traditional speaker system. Unlike active soundbars, it relies on external amplification, allowing it to scale in performance with high-quality AV receivers.

Internally, the RP-440D SB houses three discrete channels—left, centre and right—each using Klipsch’s signature horn-loaded tweeter technology and dedicated woofers. This approach preserves proper channel separation, making it a serious alternative to conventional LCR speaker setups in space-conscious installations.

Listening Experience

The RP-440D SB delivers a dynamic, open and highly intelligible presentation. Dialogue is clear and focused, remaining anchored to the screen even during complex soundtracks. Klipsch’s horn-loaded tweeters provide excellent efficiency and clarity, allowing the soundbar to play loud without strain.

Midrange reproduction is articulate and engaging, while bass remains tight and controlled for a slim-format design. When paired with a dedicated subwoofer, the RP-440D SB forms the heart of a powerful and immersive home cinema system.

Recommended Room Size

The Klipsch RP-440D SB is ideally suited for small to medium-sized rooms, including living rooms and media spaces where a clean, minimalist front stage is desired. Its performance can scale further in larger rooms when combined with capable amplification and subwoofer support.

Ideal Applications

• Home cinema systems using AV receivers and external amplification
• Wall-mounted TV installations requiring discreet front-channel audio
• Living rooms where traditional speakers are impractical
• Systems prioritising clarity, dynamics and visual simplicity
