Overview
The Eversolo T8 streaming transport is a dedicated digital source for HiFi systems built around a separate DAC. Unlike Eversolo's DMP network players, the T8 does not incorporate analogue audio outputs. Instead, its engineering is focused on network playback, local music-library management and delivering a high-quality digital signal through USB Audio, IIS, AES/EBU, coaxial or optical connections.
This focused approach makes the T8 particularly relevant for systems where the DAC has already been carefully chosen and there is no reason to duplicate that functionality inside the streamer.
Key Benefits
At the heart of the T8 is a super-low-noise linear power supply using a custom toroidal transformer with 4N oxygen-free copper windings. Eversolo specifies power-supply noise as low as 30 μV. An ultra-high-precision femtosecond clock provides the timing reference for the digital architecture, while isolation is applied to key digital outputs to help limit interference between the streamer and connected DAC.
Connectivity is one of the T8's main strengths. USB Audio and IIS support PCM up to 768 kHz / 32-bit and native DSD512, while AES/EBU, coaxial and optical outputs accommodate a broad range of conventional DACs. Eight selectable IIS modes improve compatibility with differing HDMI-IIS implementations.
For larger local libraries, two internal SSD slots accommodate up to 2 × 8TB of storage. Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6 and optional SFP fibre networking provide flexible network integration, while the 6-inch touchscreen and Eversolo control apps make browsing and everyday operation straightforward.

Ideal For
The Eversolo T8 is designed for listeners who already own a DAC they want to keep at the centre of their digital system. It is therefore particularly appropriate with high-quality standalone DACs and DAC-equipped integrated amplifiers or preamplifiers where adding another internal converter would be redundant.
It also makes sense for substantial locally stored music collections. With up to 16TB of optional internal SSD capacity alongside NAS, network and streaming-service access, the T8 can serve as the central digital source for a comprehensive music library.

Why We Selected This Product
The T8 fills a very specific role that becomes increasingly relevant as a digital system improves. If the DAC is already a carefully selected component, paying for another conversion stage inside the streamer adds functionality that may never be used. Eversolo instead concentrates the T8 on power-supply design, clocking, network performance, storage and a comprehensive range of digital outputs.
We particularly appreciate the combination of USB, configurable IIS, AES/EBU and conventional S/PDIF connectivity. Together with dual SSD storage, SFP networking and Eversolo's mature user interface, this makes the T8 a flexible digital hub for customers who want to choose their streaming transport and DAC independently.
